Watch the weather this weekend!
If you have outdoor plans, make them for Saturday...

Early weather reports indicate a strong possibility of Severe Weather beginning Late Saturday (April 1) and continuing through Sunday (April 2). There will be a potential for Heavy Rainfall and Moderate Winds.
Rainfall may be heavy at times, producing 2”-3” hourly.

Due to already saturated grounds and the large amounts, the City of Baytown should expect a delayed run off and flooding in low lying areas and streets.

Winds are expected to be moderate (<20 mph). The highest potential for a Tornado appears to be Sunday Morning when the warm air pushes through causing Training or Severe Thunderstorms.

Baytown Fire Department- Emergency Management is watching the alerts and forecast. Public Works will have crews on standby for response and Traffic barricades if needed.
Looks like we dodged a bullet!
